Follow whom, Follow When
Follow All, Follow None
It hurts when I Follow One
And He leads me where it burns
Should I dismiss my fear, and risk it this once
If it fails I can start over and then
Follow All, Follow None….
Find it in my soul to care
Either I or the other has it unfair
Myself I can’t I need a hand
While in the shadows my fortune-teller stands
Follow the stars, for there’s nix down close
So far the stars, but are they far enough
Wound up in action, I need some love
Give me some here, or I seek it far above
Follow Some, Follow all but One,
That which leads me away from home
Should I take heed and hear the voice
If it works, I have found someone
If it fails I can start over and then
Follow All, Follow None……….

Ignorance
I sheltered my little flame within a crystal jar.
The air light or strong,
Found all glass and no warmth;
Crystal with carvings I thought were beautiful
Bliss!
I saw my little flame flicker.
Then all glass and no warmth -
Crystal with carvings I couldn’t see anymore.
My flame didn’t die!
Flames don’t die, they sleep may be;
Sometimes they leave like mine
To kindle and breathe.
There is no escape without captivity.
